User Level Permissions

Which user permission levels can see and do what inside Lexul Field Service?

Lexul Field Service offers multiple permission levels to control user access and keep each team member focused on their role.

Technician Permissions

Technicians can:

  • View assigned Work Orders in Service status. (Also can view other statuses if workspace setting has been changed.)
  • Edit/add information in Arrival, Site Survey, Pre-Service, Service, Post-Service, Sign-off, and Invoice tabs.
  • View assigned Work Order history, customers, assets, contracts, and documents.
  • Add documents, parts, and services to Work Orders.
  • View/download technician documents and authorization letters.
  • View and delete images.
  • View personal Shift Times and Work Times.
  • Add personal Shift Times and Work Times.

Foreman (Technician) Permissions

Includes all Technician permissions, plus:

  • View crew members.
  • View crew Timesheets, Shift Times, and Work Times.
  • Log Shift Times and Work Times for the crew.
  • Edit Work Time Types for the crew.

Office Staff Permissions

Includes full workspace management access:

  • View, add, edit, and export Work Orders.
  • View, add, and edit Customers and Assets.
  • View, add, and edit Routes.
  • Manage Documents and Authorization Letters.
  • Manage Contracts.
  • Manage Parts and Services.
  • Create and edit Pre-Service and Post-Service Inspections and Questions.
  • View and manage all Timesheets, Shift Times, and Work Times.
  • Export Timesheets.
  • Manage Crews.
  • View all Users.

Office Admin Permissions

Includes all Office Staff permissions, plus:

  • Add/edit Billing Information.
  • Add/edit all Users.

Lexul Client Permissions

Includes all Office Admin permissions, plus:

  • View Integrations.
  • Add/edit QuickBooks Integration connections.
