Timezone Settings for Reports
- All time records display in the local timezone of the device running the report.
- Times are automatically adjusted to that timezone.
Example
- Crews work across Eastern, Central, and Pacific time zones.
- A report is run in the Central Time Zone.
- All times will display in Central Time.
Override the Timezone
Use a timezone override when:
- You are traveling and need to run reports in your normal timezone.
- Crews work across different time zones during the report period.
Windows Timezone Settings
- Update your device timezone settings before running the report.
Daylight Savings Time (DST) Reports
- Reports spanning a Daylight Savings Time change use the timezone from the report start time.
- The entire report will follow that timezone.
Example
- A report starts before a DST change and ends after.
- The report uses the timezone from the start date.
Duration Calculations
- If a work time period overlaps the report start or end date:
- Only the time within the report period is included.
Mileage Calculations
- If a work time period overlaps the report period:
- Mileage is included only if the work period’s end time falls within the report period.
Open Timers
- Active timers that have not been ended are not included in reports.
- Only completed time entries can be reviewed and approved.
