Inspections Overview

How inspections are used in Lexul.

Overview

Lexul Field Service Pre-Service and Post-Service Inspections allow you to create custom questions based on the specific service being performed. These inspections help technicians collect important job details, document conditions, and ensure accurate information is captured before and after work is completed.

Pre-Service Inspections can be used to identify issues, collect asset information, and gather required customer details, including:

  • Serial numbers
  • VINs
  • Service equipment numbers
  • Any other relevant asset identifiers
  • Required customer information
  • Job site photos
  • Specific notes and responses for each inspection question

These inspections provide a consistent process for documenting job details, improving accuracy, and ensuring technicians have the information needed to complete the work properly.

Post-Service Questions

Post-Service questions help technicians:

  • Verify completed work and confirm quality.
  • Perform final checks before leaving the job site.
  • Identify additional service opportunities.
  • Document findings and job details.

Examples include:

  • Confirming equipment is operating properly.
  • Verifying all breakers on a circuit are working.
  • Recording final notes, photos, or observations.

Dynamic questions ensure technicians complete work accurately while helping identify opportunities to provide additional value to customers.
