Tracking Time as a Foreman
Tracking time as a foreman with a crew within Lexul Field Service.
Starting Shift Time & Work Time
- On the dashboard, select Start Shift to begin your day.
- Find the Work Order.
- Select Start Work Time.
- Choose to start time for:
- Yourself, or
- Your entire crew by selecting crew members.
Changing Time Types
- Open Timesheets from the Menu.
- Select End Work for the crew member(s) needing a time type change.
- Select Start Work again and choose the new Time Type.
Example: Change a crew member from Driving (travel time) to Work once they arrive at the job site and begin working.
Tech Leaves Early
- Open Timesheets from the Menu.
- Select the crew member.
- Stop their Work Time and Shift Time.
Note: Stopping a crew member’s time from the Timesheets page will not stop the foreman’s time.
Tech Starts Late
- When starting the crew’s day, do not select crew members who are arriving late.
- When they arrive, go to Timesheets.
- Select Start Shift and Start Work Time for that crew member.
Note: If needed, a foreman can pass time tracking to a crew member so they can track their own time from their personal dashboard.
Foreman Self Clock Out
The foreman can clock out while the crew stays clocked in. The foreman will need to manage crew time after clocking out.
- Stop Work Time for the foreman only and select Submit.
- Go to Timesheets from the Menu.
- Stop Shift Time for yourself only.
Alternative: From the dashboard, select Stop Shift and choose only the foreman.
