Technician Work Order Process & Capabilities

Work Order Tabs

1. Arrival

The Arrival tab provides the technician with the full job overview before starting work.

Access Information

Technicians can edit:

  • Customer Request

Technicians cannot edit:

  • IVR
  • PIN
  • Access Notes
  • PO Text

Scope of Work

The Scope of Work displays services, parts, instructions, and notes added by the office.

  • Technicians can view the Scope of Work.
  • Technicians cannot edit office-added services or parts.
  • Additional services and parts can be added from the Service tab.

Documents

To add a document:

→ Go to Documents.
→ Select Add Document.

To download a document:

→ Select the Download icon.

2. Site Survey

Use the Site Survey tab to:

  • Add survey line items.
  • View previously added line items.
  • Answer survey questions.
  • Edit survey responses.

3. Pre-Service

Complete all required pre-service questions before beginning the job.

→ Answer each question.
→ Add images when needed.

Note: All Pre-Service and Post-Service questions must be completed before the customer sign-off option becomes available.

4. Service

The Service tab is where technicians record the work performed.

If services and parts were added by the office:

→ Enter the completed quantities for each item.

If services and parts were not added:

→ Use the Action button to add services and parts.

Technicians can also:

  • Add service notes.
  • Upload jobsite images.
  • Upload receipt images.

When uploading images: Select whether the image is a Jobsite Image or a Receipt.

Tasks

  • Tech can complete tasks
  • Add task complete images
  • Move task to In Progress or Complete

5. Post-Service

Complete all required post-service questions after the work is completed.

→ Answer each question.
→ Add images when needed.

Note: All Post-Service questions must be completed before customer sign-off becomes available.

6. Sign-Off

The Sign-Off tab allows the authorized person on-site to approve the completed work.

The signer must:

  • Provide a signature.
  • Enter their printed name.

Note: Sign-Off is only available after all required work order questions have been completed.

7. Invoice

The Invoice tab allows technicians to prepare invoice information.

→ Import services and parts from the Service tab.
→ Add any additional invoice notes below the invoice.

This workflow ensures every required step is completed before the work order is finalized.
